Commodity Trader (Agriculture) – Open BudgetOur client, a prominent player in the commodity trading market, is seeking an experienced Commodity Trader to establish and manage their trading desk. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Grains, Oilseeds, Vegetable Oils, or Rubber.Key Responsibilities:Manage and grow the trading book, with full P&L responsibility.Execute physical trades within approved risk limits, effectively managing market risk.Stay updated on market trends, price movements, and supply-demand dynamics to inform trading strategies.Develop and maintain strong relationships with counterparties, suppliers, and customers.Collaborate closely with logistics, operations, and risk teams to ensure efficient trade execution.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in a related field.Approximately 6+ years of experience in physical trading of agricultural products.Proven track record in managing P&L.Well-networked in the region with excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.Fluency in Mandarin is required to liaise with internal stakeholders.If you are a talented agricultural trader looking to lead a business expansion plan, we would love to hear from you!
