UOW College Australia is wholly owned by the University of Wollongong. Since 1988, we have been offering students alternative entry to UOW through university preparation courses. Our product offerings include Academic programs (Higher Education Diplomas and University Access Programs), English Programs, and Vocational programs.Permanent Part Time - 30.4 hours/weekCOMMUNICATIONS & DIGITAL MARKETING OFFICERAbout the RoleThe Communications & Digital Marketing Officer is critical in implementing UOW College Australia (UOWCA) digital and web footprint while supporting communication objectives.Taking direction from the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist, the role involves developing, implementing and improving the UOWCA website and digital communications channels, and ensuring consistent application of the visual identities and brand voice on digital platforms.This role combines content creation, social media planning, digital campaigns and internal/external communications. as well as maintaining and updating the organisations website. There will also be a need to work collaboratively with several internal and external resources to ensure that the digital projects have the desired impact. Create, update, and maintain UOW College Australia website content while ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with digital branding.Implement and manage social media strategies to grow engagement and communicate the brand's voice to prospective and current students.Produce the internal staff newsletter and support internal communications to enhance staff engagement and information flow.Assist with student recruitment and marketing activities, including webinars and in-person events, demonstrating a strong understanding of course offerings and corporate values.Key Selection CriteriaEssential Skills and Experience:Strong writing and editing skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of key marketing communications principlesExcellent organisational skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentExperience with social media management tools or the ability and willingness to quickly learn new platforms.
