So while this gives you the flavour of the role today, it will likely evolve.At The Moment, This Role Is Focused OnElevating Canva's awareness, adoption, and understanding in priority markets in Southeast Asia (SEA): Philippines and Indonesia, through consistent and impactful communication strategies.Creatively adapting key business messaging in ways that resonates with local audiences while maintaining alignment with our overarching global strategy.Directly overseeing our SEA PR agencies, ensuring the effective localization and execution of global initiatives for regional impact.Collaborating closely with the APAC Communications Lead to implement global communication strategies and lead key programs.Being a strategic PR partner to the SEA Regional Head, driving consistent media relations, efforts, driving thought leadership and building profile through industry events. You’re probably a match ifProven communications experience across SEA, with expertise in both corporate and consumer PR, ideally within the Philippine and Indonesian markets.Experience in localizing global strategies to achieve significant regional impact and measurable results.Innovative thinking that blend traditional with emerging media strategies for holistic outcomes.Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders, while also excelling in independent work.A proven track record of successfully managing agency partnerships and skillfully navigating cultural nuances within the SEA region.The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment as part of a small and highly ambitious team.Passion for Canva's mission, values, and culture, with the capacity to advocate for them authentically.About The TeamYou’ll be part of the Global Communications function, specifically the International Comms team – a group of passionate storytellers driving Canva’s message into every corner of the world.
