Please click here to find out more.About The RoleThis position sits within the Homelessness Cluster which aims to improve the health, wellbeing, housing, and social outcomes of people experiencing homelessness in the Inner North-West of Melbourne.Lived experience of homelessness, mental ill-health, or substance use, and recovery, complemented by first-hand experience engaging with the service system as a client.Lived Experience Workers address immediate crisis support needs, through to longer term support to establish safe and affordable long-term housing.Please refer to the Position Description for more information.Your Duties IncludeShare lived experience where it is appropriate relevant, and purposeful to the recovery journey of the consumerProvide community-based support in partnership with clients, that is strengths-based, recovery-oriented, and goal directedWork collaboratively with clients, carers, and community services to conduct assessments, identify goals, and support the implementation and review of care plansFacilitate peer-led and therapeutic groups that support recovery, social connection, and skill developmentDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersWhat Cohealth OffersExciting Parental leave benefitscohealth offers primary carers 14 weeks paid parental leave upon completion of only 6 months of continuous serviceEligible co-workers will continue to receive superannuation on unpaid parental leave as wellSalary packaging to suit you - tax free amount of up to $15,900 p.a (mortgage, rent, or credit cards) and a further $2,650 p.a (meal, entertainment expenses and holiday accommodation) alongside generous reward programs from our salary packaging providers.
