Employer : emPawa AfricaLocation: Lagos, Nigeria (Hybrid)Salary : CompetitiveCloses : 31st October 2025Start date : ImmediatelyJob Title : Intern (Content / Community Manager)Industry Sector : Music/Tech IndustryContract Type : PermanentHours : Full TimeOur Vision and MissionemPawa Africa is a music label services platform that partners with independent African artists and labels in creating, promoting and funding their art to the world whilst maintaining their economic and creative freedom.emPawa Africa is the brainchild of African Superstar – Mr Eazi and is home to incredible artists such as Tekno, DJ Neptune and oSHAMO.We are now in search of three ambitious and motivated Interns to join Empawa Africa to work across Marketing, Social Media and Graphic Design.You will likely have a passion for music, the creative process and bringing artists and the likes of producers and songwriters together.This is a very exciting position for someone who is looking to use this role as a stepping stone into Marketing or Creative and to be a part of revolutionising the music business and having a role to play in pioneering music from Africa across the globe.These roles are due to start in January 2026 and last for a period of 6 months with the prospect of an extension--Duties to include but not limited to:Manage and maintain social media calendars across platforms.Create, schedule, and post content aligned with marketing campaigns and brand guidelines.Write, design, and distribute newsletters to engage the community and drive campaigns.Monitor and respond to community interactions, comments, and messages.Collaborate with visual design, influencer, and marketing teams to ensure content consistency.Track content performance metrics and optimize strategies for engagement and growth.Maintain an organized repository of content assets and campaign materials.Stay current with social media trends, digital marketing tools, and community engagement strategies.Objectives / KPIs:Achieve 25% engagement growth per quarter.Drive 20% follower growth within 6 months.Deliver monthly content calendars on time.The ideal candidate will have / be…Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.Proven experience managing social media accounts and online communities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Skilled in content creation, copywriting, and basic design (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).Strong understanding of social media trends, analytics, and community engagement strategies.Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Collaborative mindset, comfortable working with cross-functional teams.Passionate about music, culture, and engaging online communities.---Application process:If you feel excited by the idea of becoming a member of our family, we would love to hear from you!
