JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Job purpose for the Community Presidentposition: The Community President is responsible for branch salesactivities and results. The Community President coordinates and managesretail employees, branch operations and activities. In addition, theymaintain a leadership role within the bank, branch, and community. Whatyou\'ll do in the Community President position: Works with RegionalManager to create, monitor and maintain action plans to achieve branchgoals which support WaterStone Bank\'s strategic objectives, budgetarycontrols, and profitability. Maintain a strong, visible, and positivepresence in the community through involvement in communityevents/organizations and engaging in small business activities topromote to bank\'s products and services to prospective businesscustomers. Works with Regional Manager to maintain adequate staff,ensure proper handling of employee situations. Conducts interviews,hires, monitors employee progression, disciplines, or terminatesemployees when necessary. Recommends promotions, salary adjustments andrewards. Motivates, coaches, and develops retail staff througheducation, technical and sales training, constructive feedback, andperformance management ensuring staff provides prompt, efficient, andaccurate service according to WSB\'s service expectations. Submitsreferrals to other appropriate lines of business including, Residentiallending, Business Banking, Commercial Real Estate, WIS, and MerchantServices. Maintains knowledge of WSB\'s core processing system, WSBproducts and services, WSB policies and procedures, and regulatoryrequirements governing retail accounts. Plans, coordinates, and managesbranch\'s administrative and operational processes and workflowprocedures. Identifies and recommends reasonable changes to policies,procedures, and products. Other duties as assigned. What you bring tothe position: Experience Required 3 - 5 years sales and supervisoryexperience 3 - 5 years business development experience Preferred 5 yearssales and supervisory experience and/or business development experienceEducation Required - High School Diploma or general education degree(GED) Preferred - Associate\'s or Bachelor\'s Degree in business orequivalent combination of education and experience or related fieldWorking conditions Additionally, an individual must be flexible in workschedule and have the ability to travel between office locations ifwarranted and provide proof of insurance. A valid driver\'s license isrequired. Driving record must be in accordance with WaterStone Bank\'sVehicle Safety Policy.
