Employees with a hybrid working arrangement in place will be office based and able to work from home, with permission, on an ad hoc basis.Job DetailsTo actively contribute to achieving the aim of Protective Services in promoting, protecting and enhancing the health, safety and wellbeing of people living, working and spending time in East Lothian and to support Council Services in managing the risks associated with delivering and maintaining services in our local communities.To assist and positively support the Team Leader in carrying out the delegated duties undertaken within the Community Protection Team in relation to; The delivery of a community mediation service Using early intervention methods to resolve neighbour disputes Assisting with investigations in relation to anti-social behaviourHave a key role in providing an effective integrated approach to reducing anti-social behaviour in our communities and promoting a high quality environment in East Lothian.Please download the Job Outline/Person Specification (available under 'Job Attachments') for the full range of tasks and duties associated with this job.
