SummaryThe Senior Program Director is a member of Community Services Group’s (CSG) Leadership Team and is a resource person for Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) services as designated by the Director. The senior program director is a member of operating committees as assigned. The work of the senior program director is professional, clinical, administrative, and managerial work directing the operations of one or more programs for individuals with IDD.

The Senior Program Director reports directly to the Director of IDD Operations. Schedule: Monday-Friday; must be flexible to meet the needs of the program. The position can be based out of any of CSG's regional locations. Wage InformationSalary: $75,000 per yearJob DescriptionProvides leadership and has responsibility for the programmatic and operational administration of their assigned programs. Assesses appropriateness of treatment and/or service plans to the needs of the individuals in the program. Directly supervises program directors and assistant program directors as assigned. Develops and reviews budgets and provides technical assistance with budget development.

Implements special projects and procedures, enhances the level of efficiency of the programs and continues to improve the quality of service provided to individuals. Develops and updates program policies and procedures for effective operation of programs. Ensures the development of appropriate orientation and training modules for professional and support staff in accordance with the philosophy and mission of CSG. Assists in development and review of aspects of employee performance in coordination with Program Directors and other program managers/supervisors. Participates, in partnership with other leaders, in reviewing program issues and ensure resolution is found and implemented.

Develops quality assurance plans for consistency with regulatory standards. Participates in community speaking engagements and educational training relevant to the program. Serves on Committees, task forces, and workgroups, both internally and externally to address current social and economic problems. Model the five principles of trauma informed care; safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness, and empowerment. Commitment to promote cultural, racial, language and gender access, diversity, equity and inclusion. Knowledge of collection and interpretation of program related statistics. Knowledge of current health, social and economic problems and resources for individuals with mental illness.

Knowledge of the prevention, detection, or treatment of mental health conditions. Knowledge of professional and voluntary organizations for mental health. QualificationsThis position requires one of the following combinations of education and experience:

Graduate of an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in human services, or related field, and two years supervisory or administrative experience working directly with individuals with mental illness and/or intellectual and/or developmental disability; OR graduate of an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in human services or related field, and at least three years supervisory or administrative experience working directly with individuals with mental illness and/or intellectual and/or developmental disability; OR a registered nursing degree with four years supervisory or administrative mental health or intellectual/developmental disability direct care experience.
