Part-Time - 24 hours per week$23.50-$29.10Lower Hutt locationSpectrum Care Trust supports adults who have intellectual disabilities and we are looking for a new team member in Lower Hutt. We're looking for someone kind and empathic to support 4 young people in their 20's, some of whom have limited mobility when out and about. You will assist during activities, household tasks and hopefully bring ideas of your own for things they may enjoy doing and experiencing. They are busy bees with high energy. We'll need someone who can keep up and engage them in music, swimming and sensory delights. Someone who is great at interaction- using your expressions and voice to 'connect'. Support is needed with personal cares and eating. If that's new to you, don't worry; everyone has to start somewhere.
