Direct Support Professional - Addiction Recovery Technician

Compensation: $19. 00 hourlyThis is a PRN position. Working all days and shifts as needed. Are you passionate about helping others, struggling with addiction? Compass Health Network has a great opportunity for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at our inpatient/ outpatient substance use treatment facility. Individuals within this role will oversee clients' safety and well-being, using Compass Champion Behavior. These individuals must have effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities IncludeProvide group educationTransport consumers as necessaryLog new medications and store appropriately on unitObserve self-administration of medicine on unitAssist with orientation of new consumersComplete paper and electronic documentation within required time framesAttend staff meetings and technician trainingsConduct disaster drill on each shiftSupervise/monitor consumersCollect and process urine drug screensEnsure safety of consumers by appropriately responding to crisis situations as they occurObserve Unit Manual Policies and maintain high standards of professional behaviorAssist client(s) with transportation as clinically indicated. Driving is an essential function of the positionOther duties as assignedOn-site training provided.
