Job Description

We are looking for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our regional HR team. This individual will work closely with the Regional Manager of Compensation & Benefits to help design, implement, and manage compensation and benefits programs. The role ensures that compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and compliant with local regulations while aligning with global company policies.Key ResponsibilitiesCompensation ManagementAssist in the creation and optimization of regional salary structures and job grade systems.Coordinate the annual compensation cycles (merit increases, promotions, retention bonuses, and market adjustments), ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.Conduct market research and benchmarking using industry surveys to ensure competitive positioning in each country.Develop salary models, cost projections, and market comparisons to support business planning and financial sustainability.Help design and administer incentive programs (e.g., variable pay, retention plans, bonuses).Manage the execution of annual variable compensation payments, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.Oversee HC (headcount) budget coordination for the region.Create and maintain reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI to help leadership assess pay equity and workforce trends.Benefits AdministrationLead the harmonization and benchmarking of employee benefits across the LATAM region.Assist in the annual renewal of medical, life, and disability insurance plans with brokers and local HR teams.Ensure compliance with regional labor laws and statutory benefit requirements.Propose and implement initiatives to promote employee well-being and recognition, in line with company culture.HR Systems & Data ManagementEnsure the integrity and accuracy of compensation and benefits data within HRIS systems.Support efforts to automate processes and create digital dashboards for HRBPs and management.Collaborate on data audits, governance, and the standardization of HR data across the region.Candidate ProfileEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.2–4 years of relevant experience in compensation and benefits, preferably within multinational or regional organizations.Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, modeling), as well as proficiency in Power BI.Familiarity with salary surveys and compensation benchmarking practices.Fluency in English and Spanish is required.Core CompetenciesStrong analytical skills with an attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience working in multicultural environments.Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity.Ability to think strategically and provide data-driven recommendations.Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement.
