Job Description
One of our clients in Dubai is looking for Compliance & Client Onboarding Executive, will be responsible for managing the end-to-end client onboarding process, including KYC/AML due diligence, preparation of engagement letters, internal compliance checks, and coordination with regulatory authorities and free zones.The ideal candidate should have prior experience in corporate services or fiduciary firms in the UAE, a solid understanding of corporate structures (Mainland, Free Zone, Offshore), and familiarity with UAE regulations related to compliance, UBO, FATCA/CRS, and corporate tax registrationKey Responsibilities• Coordinate the entire onboarding process for new clients, from initial due diligence to file activation.• Draft and manage Engagement Letters, ensuring accuracy, proper approval, and timely signature.• Verify all corporate documents and ensure full compliance with internal policies.• Maintain and update the internal client database and onboarding checklists.• Perform and document KYC / AML checks in line with UAE regulatory standards.• Identify and escalate potential risks or high-risk jurisdictions.• Ensure proper classification of clients under FATCA / CRS.• Monitor ongoing compliance, including license renewals, corporate tax registrations, and UBO declarations.• Liaise with auditors, external compliance officers, and authorities (DMCC, IFZA, ADGM, RAK ICC, etc.).• Work closely with accounting, legal, and administrative teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.• Support management in improving internal compliance processes and documentation standards. Qualifications and Experience• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a corporate service provider, law firm, or audit firm in the UAE.• Proven understanding of UAE company setup procedures (Free Zone and Mainland).• Familiarity with DMCC, IFZA, ADGM, DAFZA, and RAKEZ compliance requirements.• Excellent knowledge of KYC/AML standards, FATCA/CRS, and UAE Corporate Tax framework.• Strong drafting skills (Engagement Letters, internal memos, compliance forms).• Excellent communication skills in English; Italian or Arabic is a plus.
