In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that products, processes, and systems meet applicable regulatory, quality, and safety standards across high-impact projects.Your RoleAs a Compliance Engineer at Cleeven, you’ll work closely with our clients’ engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle. Your contributions will include:Interpreting and applying industry standards, regulations, and directives (e.g., ISO, IEC, DO-178, REACH, RoHS, GDPR depending on sector).Conducting compliance assessments, audits, and gap analyses.Supporting design and development teams to integrate compliance requirements into product specifications.Preparing and maintaining compliance documentation, certifications, and technical files.Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to resolve non-conformities and implement corrective actions.Advising on risk management, safety assessments, and regulatory updates.Your ProfileBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.Minimum 1 year of experience in compliance, regulatory engineering, or quality assurance.Knowledge of relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 26262, IEC 61508, EN 9100, or sector-specific standards).Experience with regulatory documentation and certification processes.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical and legal requirements.Effective communication skills for engaging with technical teams, management, and regulatory bodies.Independent, proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.Fluent in English (spoken and written).Technical EnvironmentYou’ll work with tools and methodologies such as:Standards and regulations: ISO, IEC, EN, REACH, RoHS, DO-178, depending on project scope.Quality management systems: ISO 9001, EN 9100, IATF 16949.Risk and safety analysis: FMEA, HAZOP, Fault Tree Analysis.Documentation and compliance tools: DOORS, Polarion, SAP QM, or equivalent.Development methodologies: Agile / V-model.
