Compliance Officer – 12 Months+ – Amsterdam / HybridKey Skills: ISO27001, ISO31000, ISAE, Risk Management, CISSP, Security & Assurance, Data Governance, Security/Data Policy, Change/Incident/Config ProcessesFor one of our key enterprise clients in Amsterdam, Amoria Bond is currently looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to support them during a major transformation. The department is moving from a centralised data platform to a domain-driven mesh architecture, which brings new governance, security and compliance challenges. You will play a crucial role in strengthening the organisation’s resilience and ensuring all Data & AI domains act fully in line with internal and external requirements.You will work alongside an existing Security Officer in a large department, but this role is senior, autonomous and advisory-focused, perfect for someone who enjoys influencing stakeholders, identifying gaps, and driving compliance forward in a pragmatic, constructive way!What You’ll DoAdvise Data & AI teams on Security & Assurance compliance, both tactically and operationallyTranslate their Security & Data Policies into day-to-day practiceEnsure compliance across domains during the migration to the new Data Mesh architectureSupport and monitor data-related incidents, and advise management on handling & remediationPerform risk analyses, review controls, and drive continuous improvementExecute compliance checks on Data & AI applications and identify potential risksSupport the creation and roll-out of compliance frameworks, processes and awareness initiativesChase and steer stakeholders to ensure adherence to standardsContribute to policy development and represent Data & AI Office in relevant meetingsReport findings, gaps and incidents to senior leadership (EVP)Who You AreYou should bring affinity with data and be comfortable with (or able to quickly grasp):Information security standards (ISO 2700x)Risk frameworks (ISO 31000)Assurance frameworks (ISAE)CISSP-level understanding of security domainsChange, Incident and Configuration Management processesInternal policies such as the internal Security and Data PolicyStrong stakeholder management and the ability to operate independentlyPragmatic and decisiveAre you the Compliance Officer we are looking for?
