This is a remote position.Compliance Officer & Bookings Consultant (Healthcare Sector) Position Overview We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Compliance Officer & Bookings Consultant to support our healthcare operations team. This remote role ensures that candidates meet all compliance standards while also managing the full scheduling process, including booking candidates into consultants’ diaries. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCompliance Management Ensure all healthcare candidates meet full compliance standards, including right-to-work checks, DBS, immunisation records, training certificates, references, and relevant professional registrations. Track expiry dates of compliance documents and proactively collect updates. Guide candidates through the onboarding and compliance process. Maintain audit-ready compliance files in line with CQC, NHS Framework, and internal policies. Conduct routine compliance audits and assist in improving compliance systems. Ensure all data handling complies with GDPR regulations. Bookings & Diary ManagementManage all aspects of scheduling by booking candidates directly into consultants’ diaries, ensuring availability and readiness for qualification calls or appointments. Candidate Scheduling Contact candidates via phone, email, or messaging platforms to arrange qualification calls or consultant appointments. Diary Management Coordinate closely with recruitment consultants to organise and update their calendars. Prevent double bookings, scheduling conflicts, and gaps in the diary. Adjust calendars in real-time as availability changes or issues arise. Confirmation & Follow-up Send confirmation messages, reminders, and instructions to candidates to minimise no-shows. Follow up promptly if candidates miss scheduled calls or sessions. System Updates Record all booking information accurately in the CRM or applicant tracking system. Ensure consultant diaries, booking logs, and candidate notes are always up to date. Candidate Liaison Act as the first point of contact for candidates regarding booking queries, availability, and appointment changes. Reporting Provide daily and weekly updates on booking volumes, attendance rates, cancellations, and consultant utilisation.
