Calibrium AG is a private Investment Office, that invests in various asset classes globally. We are looking for a diligent and intellectually curious compliance officer (100%) to join our dynamic and adaptable legal, risk and compliance team.To be a successful candidate, you should possess a highly motivated personality, a strong willingness to learn and take on new and exciting challenges outside your normal comfort zone. Diligence, adaptability and ability to work well under pressure is a must.You will join the legal, risk and compliance team, reporting directly to and working with the General Counsel.Your role and responsibilities will include:Ensuring compliance of the investment division's investment activities with internal mandates and external regulatory and legal requirements using the appropriate systems, defined procedures and documents for monitoring such activities.Providing compliance related input to investment mandates and investment process to ensure compliance with firm’s policies and best practice.Developing, defining and implementing the firm’s compliance model, incorporating internal and external requirements, working closely with the firm’s Risk Officer, General Counsel and the Investment Team Heads.Responsible for the firm’s internal policies, ensuring compliance with best practice through regular updates and controls.Developing systems for the handling and resolving of policy violation. Initiating and managing compliance escalation process in response to any potential violations.Providing compliance advice to the CEO and senior management and to the firm’s Risk Committee.Organizing trainings to educate staff on recent and already existing compliance requirements as documented in the firm’s policies.Serving as the lead of the firm’s Data Protection Task Force, being the point of contact for GDPR compliance and all data protection related inquiries.Monitoring of regulatory developments and identifying consequences for the groupIdentify and remediate gaps and weaknesses in corporate complianceRequirementsLaw degree or compliance officer educationMinimum of 5 years’ experience in a compliance function.
