Job Description

Mission & Main duties Ensure Group-wide coordination of AML Committee (AMLC), ensuring quality of files, alignment of information across Group Entities, follow up of actions and committee decisions. Providing Group Compliance position aligned with Compliance Senior Management, including rationale, on cases presented, accuracy of risk analysis and mitigating factors. Ensure a consistent Media watch across the Group and take the relevant actions related to important international cases that may impact UBP Reputation. Coordinate Group Consolidated supervision on files. (PEP, Top Ten, others)Key ResponsibilitiesAML Committee Support with the preparation of the AMLC, collecting files, reviewing and ensuring Group-wide alignment and standards, requesting updates/additional information from Group Entities. Analysis of the file and documenting Group Compliance’s position in alignment with the Bank’s Risk Appetite, Group Directives and prohibitions. Support the Secretary to the AMLC (participation, minutes). Follow up of AMLC decisions and actions. Reporting on AMLC activity to various Bank Committees (ExCo, BRC) and for various Compliance reports (e.g. Annual Activity Report).Others Establish and maintain strong relationships with top management and key stakeholders within the Bank. Ensure a qualitative Media Watch at the Group level Initiate Group investigations when required in coordination with Special Investigation Unit Consolidation of Group annual PEP review and Top Ten relationships reviewCore Competencies Strong experience in AML matters, preferably across different stages of the customer lifecycle. Good analytical and communication skills Strong adherence to the company’s values: Dedication, Conviction, Agility, and Responsibility. Compliance with regulations and internal directives.Specific Competencies And Other Skills/Abilities University degree in Economics, Law, or an equivalent qualification, with a Compliance Management (CM) certificate. Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Compliance. Deep understanding of AML framework. Strong experience analyzing client files. Strong attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality standard. Fluency in French and English; other languages considered an advantage.NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
