Join us in building trust and driving performance with integrity across our global operations.As the Compliance Officer, International Central, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with the Vice President International Central, and sub-regional leadership team members to embed GSK’s culture and ways of working. You will drive accountability, foster the right leadership, and enable competitive performance by managing enterprise risks, leveraging data analytics, and leading a high-performing compliance team.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a member of the International Central Leadership Team and International Compliance Lead TeamInfluence business priorities and activities using strategic thinking and industry knowledgeFoster principles-based decision-making and ensure robust governance frameworksEncourage business leaders, peers and direct reports to evaluate risk, generate solutions and ensure issues are escalatedFacilitate the Risk Management and Compliance Board (RMCB) to define and oversee risk mitigation plansPartner with cross-functional teams to implement fit-for-purpose compliance programs and systemsEnsure Data Privacy compliance through the application of GSK’s Privacy frameworkLead sub-regional investigations and disciplinary committees to uphold GSK’s Code of ConductDirect independent business monitoring programs across the region, including third-party providersDevelop and mentor Compliance Officers, Directors, and Managers to sustain strategic capabilities and foster talent movementBasic QualificationsWe are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or SciencesSignificant management experience in Pharma or aligned support functions, with expertise in compliance programs, risk management, and governance frameworksStrong advocacy skills and sound business judgment at senior levels within Pharma or aligned support function leading to an understanding of operational processes and technology conceptsProven experience leading and effectively managing large, multi-layered teams across diverse geographies and culturesA track record of providing trusted advice and accountability to senior executives (SVP, GLT-1)Comprehensive organizational insight to identify areas of compliance risk and ensure alignment of compliance functions with business objectivesSignificant knowledge and management experience of compliance programs, processes and outcomesPreferred QualificationsIf you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:Post-graduate degree or professional qualification in Law, Audit, FinanceExceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence internal and external stakeholders to proactively prevent compliance failures and uphold trustStrong organisational capabilities and proven ability to operate in an influencing capacity across multiple geographies, complex matrix structures, and at all levels, particularly with senior managementThis role is based in Dubai and will require on-site presence, as well as up to 20% international travel.
