Our all-in-one financial platform helps entrepreneurs, small businesses, and digital-first companies manage their money, payments, and growth with confidence.Job summary: As a Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. You will be responsible for preparing and submitting regulatory reports, including Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR’s) and assessing financial crime risks across multiple jurisdictions.The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of anti-money laundering  (AML) regulations and procedures, compliance, regulatory obligations of Payments Firms, excellent analytical and writing skills and the ability to present clear, factual, and concise narratives to regulators. Accuracy, attention to detail, and sound judgment are essential for success in this role.Key Responsibilities:Identify, investigate, and assess potentially suspicious activity in line with AML requirements.Prepare and submit Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) to the relevant Financial Intelligence Units (FIUs) in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.Ensure STR narratives are structured logically and factually, including:Customer background and activity overviewDescription of the suspicious activityReasons for suspicion (indicators, risk triggers, anomalies)Actions taken internally (e.g., freezing, exiting, enhanced monitoring)Supporting documents and evidence for the submissionMaintain high accuracy and professional standards in all regulatory communications—avoiding speculation, internal scoring details, or irrelevant information.Support the MLRO and wider Compliance team in day-to-day AML operations and ongoing monitoring.Conduct periodic reviews and investigations in line with internal policies and procedures.Assist in maintaining and updating AML policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure ongoing compliance with evolving regulations.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote awareness of AML/CTF requirements and strengthen the company’s compliance culture.Participate in internal and external audits and regulatory examinations as required.Support training and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the Compliance Team.Required Knowledge:2–3 years’ experience in AML, financial crime, or regulatory compliance, ideally within fintech, or financial services.Solid understanding of AML/CTF regulations and EU compliance standards.Proven experience preparing and submitting STRs/SARs to FIUs.Familiarity with CDD/KYC, EDD, and transaction monitoring.Skilled in AML monitoring and case management tools.Excellent written and verbal Finnish and English; strong report-writing ability.
