Job Description

1. Regulation MonitoringMonitor and interpret domestic and global product safety standards (KC, ISO, etc.).Track regulatory changes affecting supply chain operations (labeling, country of origin, price indication, etc.).Review Korea-specific requirements for consumer products, food, electrical and chemical items.Follow environmental and sustainability regulations, including EPR, waste charges, and packaging recycling requirements.2. Product CertificationEnsure compliance of import/export processes with all regulatory requirements.Manage Korea Certification (KC) and safety verification for various product categories.Conduct raw material safety testing (textile, leather, fur, synthetic resins).Collaborate with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and testing labs.3. Analysis & ReportingReport non-compliance issues, conduct investigations, and follow up with corrective actions.Provide regulatory updates to the Logistics & Warehouse Director and HQ teams.Verify conformity requirements with authorities and consultants.Analyze competitor behavior and market trends related to product compliance.Oversee product recall procedures if needed.Prepare monthly compliance reports and support internal compliance training.4. SustainabilityLead annual EPR and waste-charge related activities.Ensure environmental compliance across materials, labeling, and packaging.5. Cross-functional CollaborationWork closely with Legal, Logistics, Retail Operations, and Merchandising to embed compliance in daily operations.Support investigation and resolution of customer complaints related to product compliance.Align with internal teams for customs clearance and new product launches.Conduct monthly store audits from a compliance standpoint (labeling, open price system, country of origin, etc.).RequirementsBachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or Chemistry7+ years of experience in product testing / KC certification operation for food or consumer products (e.g., electrical products, chemical products, etc.)Strong knowledge of international trade compliance and standardization is a plus.SAP (ERP) expertise preferred
