Job DetailsDescriptionBegin your Composites One Career Today!Position OverviewAs a General Warehouse Team Member, you will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, shipment and production process of materials according to all established Company and regulatory policies and procedures.

Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure accurate and timely receipt and shipping of all materials following FIFO and potential freight claim or back order procedures while supporting all freight and safety policiesReceive, unload and process inbound material and shipments; stock material, process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipmentsPerform a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product; move, store and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle countsUnderstand and comply with applicable DOT, EPA, OSHA and specific HS&E requirementsMaintain a safe, clean working environmentAccurately maintain shipping and receiving related informationCommunicate potential stockouts, damaged material/packaging or labeling to appropriate staff in a timely mannerPartner with Drivers to ensure efficient loading and delivery of shipmentsExpected Skills And QualificationsKnowledge and understanding of FIFO, OSHA requirements, safety awareness and hazardous material shippingHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalentAbility to learn internal database and software systems; proficient with near-miss and MSDS, UPS, FedEx and dedicated Logistics systemEffectively communicate cross-functionallyAdditional Preferred Skills And QualificationsAssociate's degreeForklift certificationPhysical Requirements For a General Warehouse Team MemberModerate to heavy physical activity; ability to independently lift up to 75 poundsAbility to walk and/or stand for entire length of shift; regularly required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, or crawl; may be required to sometimes sit, climb, or balanceAbility to reach, grasp, push and pull with hands and armsClose vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus; hand-eye coordinationDiscover a Fulfilling CareerAt Composites One, our Team Members are the cornerstone of our success.
