Computer Science | Data Analysis internship: automation and dashboard development

IntroductionOur Customer Support team plays a critical role in ensuring ASML machines perform flawlessly at customer sites. We analyze and consolidate issues; ranging from design and supplier challenges to logistics and technical problems. With this data we drive solutions across ASML. By tracking disturbances, communicating with internal teams and customers, and improving processes, we help maintain operational excellence. For new machines, manual data handling and reporting are still common, and we aim to change that. Join us to help automate workflows and create smart dashboards that make a real impact.Your assignmentYou will work within the Customer Support team that consolidates and tracks machine issues at customer sites and drives solutions across ASML. Your main focus will be on automating manual processes and visualizing data for better decision-making. Key deliverables include:Developing smart tooling to automate Excel-based workflows (e.g., macros).Creating dashboards and visualizations (using Power BI).Documenting processes and roles within the team.Supporting communication between local teams and global stakeholders.Contributing to process improvements for new machine installations.This is a (thesis) internship between for a minimum duration of 6 months. It requires an investment of minimally 24 hours per week, out of which 2 days per week are onsite in Veldhoven. It is set to start in February 2026.Your profileTo be the perfect match for this internship, you:Are a bachelor or master student in IT, Computer Science or Technical Engineering.Have experience with Excel automation (macros) and data visualization (e.g. Power BI).Communicate effectively in English at a professional level.Are proactive, independent and detail-oriented.Are enthusiastic about working in a diverse and inclusive environment.Other requirements you need to meet:You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship.
