At Belmond we look for effortlessly engaging characters, whose personality, humour and charm shine through, creating a culture for unscripted and instinctive service and genuine human connection. For the next season, we are looking for a Concierge for the next season (spring/summer 2026) to join our Front of the house team. The ideal candidate is willing to provide authentic, luxury experiences in world-renowned destinations to our guests, demonstrating care, confidence and curiosity. He/she is passionate about service and willing to grow professionally.  He/She will Report to the Head Concierge.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesWarmly welcome guests and proactively offer assistance, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction from arrival to departure. Provide comprehensive and insightful recommendations on local attractions, dining, shopping, cultural events, and hidden gems. Skillfully make reservations and arrangements for restaurants, transportation (taxis, private cars, boats), excursions, spa treatments, and other bespoke services. Maintain an extensive network of contacts with local businesses, vendors, and service providers to secure preferred access and exceptional experiences for guests. Handle guest inquiries and requests with the utmost professionalism, discretion, and efficiency, no matter how unique or challenging. Provide accurate and up-to-date information on hotel services, facilities, and local events. Manage guest mail, messages, and packages with care and precision. Collaborate closely with all hotel departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B) to ensure seamless communication and exceptional service delivery. RequirementsA minimum of 3 years of experience as a Concierge in a luxury hotel or similar high-end hospitality environment; Exceptional knowledge of Portofino, the Ligurian coast, and surrounding areas, including local culture, attractions, and hidden treasures; An established network of reliable local contacts (restaurants, transport, tours, etc.); Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and genuinely; A proactive, intuitive, and anticipatory approach to guest service, capable of exceeding expectations consistently; Impeccable organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple complex requests simultaneously; Discretion, diplomacy, and the ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of professionalism; Proficiency in Concierge software systems and hotel PMS (Property Management System) is an advantage; Fluency in Italian and English is essential; knowledge of other major international languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish, Russian, Arabic) is highly valued.
