Job Title: IT Business Analyst – Application Migration & Process Engineering Location: South Carolina (Residents Only) Job Type: Full-TimePosition Overview: We are seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst with experience in government IT projects to lead application migration efforts. You will act as a liaison between business and technical teams, facilitating process engineering, testing, and training to ensure smooth transitions for system modifications. Key Responsibilities: Program Area Facilitation: Lead meetings, collect configuration artifacts, and prepare migration-related deliverables. Testing & Training: Develop and execute test plans, provide user training, and ensure smooth user adoption post-migration. Process Engineering & Support:
Analyze system processes to identify efficiencies and support migration improvements. Consultation: Align system migrations with agency goals and provide support for smaller projects. Required Skills: 5+ years of experience in government IT projects as a business analyst. Proficiency in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and processes. Strong understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and execute test plans. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for cross-functional collaboration. Proficiency in business modeling and process flow techniques. Experience with SQL databases. Preferred Skills: IIBA CBAP or CCBA certification, PMI-PBA.
Leadership experience in guiding technical teams and managing projects. Familiarity with JIRA and Microsoft Office. Basic understanding of mainframe systems. Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience).
