Private Credit Investment Associate / VPExperience: 7–10 yearsTeam: Private Investments / AlternativesKey ResponsibilitiesPrivate Credit Investment Analysis & ExecutionConduct in-depth due diligence on private credit opportunities, including direct lending, special situations, and asset-backed lending. Analyze fund strategies, GP track records, legal structures (SPVs), and transaction terms. Build financial and cash flow models, run scenario and downside analyses, and evaluate expected return profiles. Lead or support the underwriting and execution of credit transactions, coordinating with legal, tax, and operational teams. Maintain strong working relationships with GPs, direct lenders, and credit fund managers.
Multi-Asset Portfolio SupportAssist in designing and managing bespoke, diversified portfolios with private credit allocations tailored to client goals and risk profiles. Support asset allocation and rebalancing decisions based on investment outlooks, liquidity needs, and market dynamics. Participate in manager selection and ongoing due diligence across broader private market strategies as needed (excluding real estate). Monitoring & ReportingTrack investment performance, risk exposures, and covenant compliance across private credit holdings. Maintain internal tracking systems for capital calls, NAVs, distributions, and cash flows. Prepare investment reports, credit-specific dashboards, and quarterly portfolio reviews for internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate with operations, custodians, and fund administrators to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy. Client Communication & DocumentationDraft detailed investment memos, manager reviews, and pipeline updates focused on private credit opportunities. Present recommendations and performance updates in client and committee meetings. Ensure timely and accurate documentation for compliance, legal, and operational processes. Respond to client inquiries and support regulatory filings related to private credit investments. Collaboration & Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain relationships with private credit managers, placement agents, and third-party service providers. Participate in manager meetings, credit conferences, and due diligence sessions.
Collaborate across investment, risk, legal, and client advisory teams to ensure seamless execution and ongoing governance. Requirements: 7–10 years of experience in private credit, private debt, structured finance, or leveraged finance. Background in investment banking, credit funds, or sovereign/PE platforms is ideal. Strong credit risk assessment and financial modelling capabilities. CFA or MBA preferred.
