Job Purpose: To oversee and manage all aspects of biscuit production including planning, scheduling, staffing, quality control, cost management, and compliance. The role ensures that biscuit products are manufactured efficiently, on time, within budget, and to standard. Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and control biscuit production processes from raw material to finished product. Lead daily operations of the biscuit lines: baked, cream-filled, crackers, wafers, etc. Develop production schedules and ensure timely delivery to sales and distribution. Optimize production output and reduce waste through process improvements. Supervise production staff and shift supervisors; conduct training and evaluations.
Implement quality control procedures and maintain hygiene and safety standards (e. g. , HACCP, ISO 22000). Monitor KPI metrics (OEE, yield, downtime, waste) and initiate corrective actions. Coordinate with maintenance, QA, procurement, R&D, and warehousing teams. Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety standards, and food industry regulations. Support NPD (New Product Development) trials and scale-ups. Drive cost control initiatives and efficient use of energy, materials, and labor. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5–8 years of experience in FMCG or food processing – preferably in biscuit, bakery, or confectionery production.
Proven experience in managing high-speed automated production lines. Strong knowledge of biscuit baking technology, dough processing, ovens, and packaging machinery.
