Career Counselor Team lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Career Counselor to guide individuals in identifying their career goals, developing professional skills, and making informed educational and career decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, in-depth knowledge of career development, and a passion for helping people reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Conduct one-on-one and group career counseling sessions. Assess clients' interests, skills, and values using interviews and career assessment tools. Provide information on educational programs, job market trends, and career opportunities. Assist clients in developing resumes, cover letters, and preparing for interviews.

Support clients in career planning, job search strategies, and transitions. Organize career fairs, employer sessions, and skill development workshops. Maintain accurate and confidential client records. Collaborate with academic advisors, HR teams, or community partners for holistic career support. Keep up-to-date with labor market trends and career development practices. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Human Resources, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 3years of experience in career counseling, academic advising, or a related field. Skills and Competencies: Excellent communication and active listening skills. Empathy, patience, and a client-centered mindset. Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Familiarity with career assessment tools Knowledge of resume building, interview techniques, and job search strategies. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
