Position OverviewThe Contract Specialist is responsible for preparing, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts to ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal requirements, and business objectives. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple agreements and deadlines effectively. Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and revise contracts, agreements, and amendments. Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Negotiate contract terms with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes. Maintain accurate records of contract documents, correspondence, and key milestones. Monitor contract performance to ensure deliverables, timelines, and quality standards are met.
Collaborate with legal, procurement, finance, and operational teams to resolve contractual issues. Provide guidance and training to staff on contract management procedures. Identify and mitigate contractual risks. Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Procurement, or related field. Experience: Minimum 4 years in contract management, procurement, or legal support. Skills: Strong understanding of contract law and commercial terms. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Preferred: Professional certification (e. g. , CPCM, CFCM, IACCM) is an advantage.
