Media AdvisorPosition Overview: The Media Advisor will be responsible for developing and implementing media strategies, managing relationships with journalists and media outlets, and ensuring effective communication of the organization’s brand, initiatives, and key messages. The role involves advising senior leadership on media engagement, preparing press materials, monitoring media coverage, and ensuring a consistent, positive public image. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute media strategies aligned with organizational goals. Serve as the main point of contact for all media inquiries and requests. Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers.
Prepare press releases, media kits, briefing notes, and other communication materials. Advise management and executives on media opportunities and potential risks. Coordinate press conferences, interviews, and media events. Monitor media coverage, analyze sentiment, and prepare regular reports. Ensure alignment of media activities with branding, marketing, and communication plans. Manage crisis communication in collaboration with senior leadership. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field. Proven experience in media relations, journalism, or corporate communications. Strong understanding of media landscapes (traditional, digital, and social). Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills in Arabic and English.
Knowledge of crisis communication best practices.
