Monitor and analyze spending patterns to identify cost reduction opportunities and conduct due diligence and assist in formulating long-term capacity development plans for mills and vendors, ensuring alignment with sourcing strategy.
Evaluate new suppliers based on quality, sustainability, and cost requirements, aiming for year-over-year improvement through proactive engagement and quality management. Achieve (%) targeted reductions in sourcing and material costs while expanding the global supplier pool. Conduct in-depth market research and analysis on global supply, demand, pricing trends, regulatory landscapes, and emerging technologies. Drive continuous improvements in material sourcing processes and update the standard material procurement process as needed. Build and monitor a robust supply chain scorecard, focusing on innovation, flexibility, speed, cost, and sustainability.
Conduct regular audits of suppliers to assess compliance with quality standards and operational capabilities Key Experience & BackgroundMinimum of 15 years of work experience in material / sourcing management within the apparel sector. Strong expertise in cross-country sourcing strategies and supply chain management. Excellent problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail, complemented by a collaborative mindset and humility. A strategic thinker with advanced negotiation and influencing skillsBachelor’s degree/Higher Diploma or equivalent.
