Head of Supply Chain, Material & Sourcing (Apparel & Manufacturing)

ResponsibilitiesFormulate vendor and country sourcing strategies, monitor KPIs, prepare documentation for senior management review and approval, and publish monthly sourcing tracking dashboards. Demonstrate extensive experience in sourcing and procurement, especially within the apparel or garment sectors. A deep understanding of sourcing strategies that align with business objectives is essential. Monitor and analyze spending patterns to identify cost reduction opportunities and conduct due diligence and assist in formulating long-term capacity development plans for mills and vendors, ensuring alignment with sourcing strategy.

Evaluate new suppliers based on quality, sustainability, and cost requirements, aiming for year-over-year improvement through proactive engagement and quality management. Achieve (%) targeted reductions in sourcing and material costs while expanding the global supplier pool. Conduct in-depth market research and analysis on global supply, demand, pricing trends, regulatory landscapes, and emerging technologies. Drive continuous improvements in material sourcing processes and update the standard material procurement process as needed. Build and monitor a robust supply chain scorecard, focusing on innovation, flexibility, speed, cost, and sustainability.

Strong expertise in cross-country sourcing strategies and supply chain management. Excellent problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail, complemented by a collaborative mindset and humility. A strategic thinker with advanced negotiation and influencing skillsBachelor’s degree/Higher Diploma or equivalent.
