ResponsibilitiesOversee operations to ensure safety and compliance, provide and maintain a safe work environment for all employees and visitors. Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations. Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping. Prepare budgets and manage financial performance of the plant. Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in various activities related to safety, quality, productivity, ESG, information and data security, supply management, marketing, people management, HR, and other delivery. Implement global standards in Production, Quality and Delivery management.
Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus. Build and maintain a trusting relationship with employees and customersCommunicate performance expectations to employees, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with HR on people development by recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training new staff. Utilize the company's KPIs and regularly measure them to enhance plant performance, while adhering to the company's rules and regulations. Stay up to date with latest production trends, best practices, and technology.
QualificationsWith over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, including a minimum of 5 years as a Plant Manager demonstrating strong leadership, Candidates with Tier1 plant management experience are highly valued. Candidates should have a robust background in labor union management, particularly with the Korea Metal Workers' Union, and strong expertise in quality management. Candidates must possess outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, excellent organizational and time management abilities, and be proactive problem solvers.
