About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic Senior Planning Manager to join our Development team. This pivotal role will oversee all aspects of development planning, project controls, and program management — from concept to post-handover. You will play a key role in driving strategic planning, project delivery, and reporting across multiple asset classes including residential, hospitality, retail, and infrastructure. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage the Master Development Strategic Program aligned with annual business plans and corporate KPIs. Break down corporate KPIs into project-level deliverables and monitor progress accordingly. Prepare forecast and actual progress reports, including revenue recognition and cost analysis.
Monitor contractor performance and review EOT claims, contract programs, and contract milestones. Lead the Project Control Systems, including WBS development, procurement strategy, and risk management. Generate weekly/monthly progress reports and lead project audit readiness. Ensure timely property title deed and krooki processing. Support the training and development of junior Omani staff within the department. Represent the department during internal and external audits. What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. Professional certifications (e. g. , CIOB, MICE, AACE) preferred. Minimum 10 years’ experience in planning roles with both pre- and post-contract exposure.
Proven experience in: High-volume residential developments (500+ units)Hotel, retail, and commercial developmentsInfrastructure and large-scale masterplansStrong practical construction knowledge and ability to advise on value engineering and logistics. Proficiency in Primavera P6 with cost loading, resourcing, and progress tracking. Solid understanding of construction law and contracts, and entitlement submissions.
