Program Management Manager| Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaThe Company: New Semi-Government EntityAbout the Role: This role develops and implements a comprehensive PMO framework, ensuring robust project governance, documentation, and reporting. Collaborating across departments, this position supports project prioritization, monitors performance against KPIs, and fosters continuous improvement in project delivery and alignment with strategic goals. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIESStrategic Project PlanningDevelop and implement a project management strategy that aligns with COMPANY’s overall strategic plan and business objectives. Assist in the identification and prioritization of strategic projects and initiatives for COMPANY.
This involves supporting, coordinating with project owners, and collaborating with respective departments in various activities, which includes prioritization, cost development, and financial assessment, all aimed at ensuring the optimal delivery of project value. Work closely together with BD, Digital Transformation team in order to work and implement strategic transformations for COMPANY together with other internal COMPANY specialist (within operations, finance, communications, shared services or any other functions internally and external supplier as consultants)Project ManagementEstablish and Maintain PMO Framework: Design, develop, and implement a comprehensive PMO framework and documentation process that aligns with organizational goals and industry best practices.
Adhere to documentation: Make a proper documentation process and archiving of all project aspects such as progress meetings, management update meetings, update packs … etc. Project Governance and Oversight: Implement and enforce project governance standards, ensuring adherence to methodologies, policies, and procedures across all projects. Regular Project Updates: Establish a consistent process for collecting, analysing, and reporting project progress, risks, and issues. Meeting Management and Documentation: Facilitate and document project progress meetings and management review meetings, including the creation and distribution of accurate and timely Minutes of Meetings (MOMs). Action Item Tracking:
Maintain a meticulous system for tracking action items arising from meetings, ensuring timely follow-up and completion. Business Acumen: Quickly understand the organization's business objectives, priorities, and the interdependencies of various projects. Continuous Learning: Demonstrate a strong willingness and aptitude for continuous learning and professional development within the project management domain and the broader business context. Presentation Excellence: Develop and deliver high-quality, visually compelling presentations using PowerPoint to effectively communicate project status, risks, and key decisions to various stakeholders. Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and the creation of insightful dashboards to support project decision-making. Stakeholder Coordination: Proactively coordinate meetings and communication between diverse stakeholders, ensuring alignment and fostering collaborative working relationships. Proactive Communication and Alignment: Take initiative to ensure all relevant stakeholders are informed about project progress, potential roadblocks, and key decisions, fostering a shared understanding of project goals and status. Effective Escalation Management: Possess sound judgment to identify when issues require escalation to higher management and execute the escalation process appropriately and effectively.
Define and develop the project governance and gate process outlining the roles and responsibilities of different stakeholders, authority, and composition of various project committees, in order to provide clarity on each stakeholder’s accountabilities and avoid duplication of activities during the implementation of projects. Ensure provision of professional project control services such as project initiation, planning, reporting, scheduling, budgeting, coordinating procurement of material/services, contract management, and cost control to assigned projects. Lead project execution while minimizing and mitigating risks in accordance with international standards and industry best practices.
Project Performance ManagementCurate aggregated KPIs and dashboards that specifically highlight COMPANY's performance in the realm of projects and initiatives, to improve organizational performance, and enhance overall decision-making and strategy alignment, in coordination with Corporate Performance Management unit. Act as the custodian of the COMPANY’s strategic project delivery framework, ensuring the organization’s continuous maturity in project governance, portfolio management, and execution. Conduct regular reviews of PMO processes and procedures to ensure that they are aligned with industry best practices and are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness.
Oversee the development and implementation of mechanisms to monitor the implementation of projects against the predefined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with predefined objectives. Ensure efficient and effective operation of COMPANY projects by regularly reviewing project progress reports, taking action to address deviations from plans, and aligning with predefined financials and KPIs. Qualifications/Requirements. Knowledge and Experience: 8+ years relevant Project/Program Management experience. Experience working with a portfolio management of several projects preferableAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and ExcelFluent in EnglishProven record of achievements. Education: Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent is required.
PMP certifications or equivalent is a plus.
