This role is ideal for an HSE professional with a strong background in electrical infrastructure projects, who can lead site safety initiatives, manage compliance frameworks, and foster a proactive safety culture on-site. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all site-based HSE activities, ensuring full compliance with project safety plans, legislation, and client requirements.

Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions. Facilitate pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions for all personnel and subcontractors. Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety breaches; ensure root cause analysis and corrective actions are documented and implemented. Oversee environmental controls on-site, including erosion, dust, and waste management in accordance with regulatory standards. Requirements:

Proven experience in an HSE leadership role within, electrical infrastructure, or renewable energy sectors. Strong knowledge of New Zealand HSE legislation, standards, and industry best practices. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence a diverse workforce. Demonstrated ability to manage safety performance on large-scale construction projects.
