As a Compliance Manager, you will ensure that all hotel operations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Your role is crucial in maintaining our reputation for excellence and integrity, safeguarding the interests of our guests, staff, and stakeholders.

You will oversee compliance programs, conduct audits, and provide training to ensure that every team member understands their responsibilities regarding compliance. ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and oversee comprehensive compliance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure full adherence to local legislation, international regulatory standards, and Hilton brand protocols. Conduct systematic audits and internal reviews across all operational departments to assess compliance performance and identify areas requiring corrective action or improvement. Deliver structured training initiatives and provide ongoing advisory support to team members on compliance-related matters, fostering a culture of ethical conduct, transparency, and corporate responsibility.

Remain fully informed of legislative developments and regulatory changes affecting the hospitality sector, advising executive leadership on implications and ensuring timely compliance with all applicable requirements. Collaborate closely with key departments—including Finance, Human Resources, and Operations—to assess compliance risks, strengthen internal controls, and promote efficient and compliant workflows. Compile and present detailed compliance reports, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior management, thereby supporting informed decision-making and organizational accountability. Serve as the primary liaison with external regulatory authorities and auditors, ensuring the hotel is well-prepared for inspections and maintains a consistently high standard of regulatory compliance.

Establish and maintain a centralized compliance documentation system to ensure consistent record-keeping, audit readiness, and traceability of all compliance-related activities and decisions.

Participate in strategic planning initiatives by providing compliance perspectives and insights, ensuring that new business developments, partnerships, or service offerings are aligned with legal and regulatory expectationsRequirementsMinimum of 4 years' experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field, preferably within the hospitality industryBachelor's degree in business administration, law, hospitality management, or a related fieldStrong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements relevant to hotel operationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to train and influence others effectivelyProficiency in compliance management software and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Greek and EnglishBenefitsAt Conrad Athens The Ilisian, you'll be part of a world-renowned luxury brand where creativity, collaboration, and the pursuit of excellence are celebrated.
