As a Purchasing Agent, you will be responsible for supporting the Purchasing Manager in identifying the best sources for products and services to meet the hotel's operational needs. This includes evaluating vendor proposals, managing purchase orders, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the procurement process.

Your careful attention to detail and negotiation skills will be critical in ensuring that Conrad Athens The Ilisian maintains its commitment to excellence while controlling costs. ResponsibilitiesSupport the procurement of goods and services essential to hotel operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and cost-effectiveness. Evaluate vendor proposals, perform cost analyses, and maintain strong communication with suppliers to foster reliable partnerships. Process purchase orders and coordinate timely delivery of materials and services in alignment with operational requirements.

Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all purchases, inventory levels, and supplier performance metricsCollaborate with departmental stakeholders to assess purchasing needs and ensure consistent product availabilityMonitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and competitor offerings to support data-driven purchasing decisionsAssist in the development and implementation of standardized purchasing policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accountabilityRequirementsMinimum of 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the hospitality or service industryBachelor's degree in business, hospitality management, or a related field is preferredKnowledge of procurement processes and strong understanding of supply chain managementExcellent negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain supplier relationshipsStrong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detailProficiency in purchasing software and Microsoft Office; experience with inventory management systems is a plusEffective communication skills in both Greek and EnglishAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesBenefitsAt Conrad Athens The Ilisian, you'll be part of a world-renowned luxury brand, where creativity, collaboration, and the pursuit of excellence are celebrated.
