Job DescriptionConstance Belle Mare Plage, a luxurious resort in Mauritius, is seeking an organised and efficient Storekeeper to join our operations team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing our resort's inventory and ensuring smooth supply chain operations.

Oversee and maintain accurate inventory records for all resort supplies and equipmentReceive, inspect, and store incoming goods, ensuring proper handling and storage procedures are followedProcess requisitions and distribute supplies to various departments within the resortConduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepanciesCollaborate with purchasing department to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortagesImplement and maintain an organised storage system for easy retrieval of itemsEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations in the storeroomPrepare and submit regular reports on stock levels, usage patterns, and any issuesAssist in identifying slow-moving or obsolete inventory itemsParticipate in annual inventory audits and support external auditors as requiredQualificationsProven experience in storekeeping or warehouse management, preferably in the hospitality industryProficiency in using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong organisational skills with keen attention to detailBasic accounting skills for inventory valuation and reportingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentPhysical fitness to handle lifting and moving of suppliesKnowledge of health and safety regulations related to storage and handling of goodsDiploma in logistics or supply chain management is desirable but not essentialFamiliarity with hospitality industry supply chain management is an advantageAbility to adapt to working in a tropical resort environmentAdditional InformationWORK WITH CONSTANCE🌿 Join a team where well-being, career development, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do.
