Job Description

Job Scope 1) Coordinating the construction works performed by main contractors at various project sites in SNOC i.e. Sajaa plant, LPG Terminal, Condensate Terminal, wellhead facilities and pipelines/flowlines in all fields.2) To ensure that construction works in SNOC are executed safely, on time, within budget and according to the approved design, quality and HSE standards.Main Responsibilities 1) Oversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently and in line with approved drawings and specifications. 2) Supervise contractors and sub-contractors to ensure proper construction methods and quality of workmanship3) Coordinate multi discipline works (civil, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation)4) Ensure that construction schedules are met and highlight any delays or issues at early stage.5) Review construction drawings, isometrics, specifications, method statements & risk assessments before implementation6) Resolve field issues in coordination with engineering and operation teams7) Ensure that any site modifications are properly approved 8) Ensure that all works meets project quality requirements9) Verify material traceability, welding procedures, hydrotesting and inspections as per approved ITPs (inspection and test plan)10) Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspection requests, punch list clearance and documentation reviews/approval11) Review and endorse construction dossiers12) Track construction progress against schedules and report deviations.13) Identify and report any delays, resource shortages or technical bottlenecks14) Participate in Joint walkthroughs and prepare punch list15) Ensure all construction activities are completed and documented before handover to commissioning team16) Support pre-commissioning and mechanical completion activities Qualifications / Experience /Special Conditions or RequirementsB.E. MechanicalExperience and Special Conditions or requirementsMinimum 10 years of relevant experience as construction engineer in oil & gas industry Key Skill and Competencies 1) Strong understanding of Oil & Gas industry systems2) Knowledge of construction codes and standards3) Proficiency in planning tools (Primavera, MS Project)4) Understanding of HSE and QA/QC requirements 5) Strong leadership and communication skills6) Ability to manage multidiscipline teams under tight deadlines
