Job Opening: Construction EstimatorLocation: South Africa (Remote – US Hours)Type: Full-Time, Work from HomeHours: 9am- 5pm ESTPay: Monthly USD SalaryAbout the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and computer-savvy Construction Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating costs, materials, and labor required for construction projects, ensuring proposals are competitive and aligned with company standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze project plans, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.Quantify materials, labor, and time requirements for each project.Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.Prepare detailed and organized bid proposals and tender documents.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project scope and requirements.Monitor project costs and assist in budget management throughout the project lifecycle.Use estimating and project management software to track and manage estimates.Maintain a database of historical cost data and supplier pricing for future reference.Qualifications & SkillsProven experience as a Construction Estimator or in a similar role.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and documentation.Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, estimating software, and project management tools.Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Effective communication and negotiation skills.To Apply: Email your CV and to move forward with the next steps, we'd love to learn more about your background and experiences through a short video.
