Job DescriptionThis position is for K2 Data Centres, a company under Kuok (Singapore) Limited, based in Thailand, Bangkok.Purpose Of The RoleK2 is an international developer, owner and operator of hyper-scale digital infrastructure assets. We are the specialists in providing critical digital infrastructure in the form of Data Centre environments to leading technology companies, we lay the physical foundations of the internet, cloud services and tomorrow's digital solutions, today.With a proven track record operating to world leading service levels, we pride ourselves in being technically focused long-term partners, providing our customers peace of mind when investing in significant physical network, storage and computing resources that provide the digital solutions to millions of users around the world everyday.We seek to hire the best talent in the industry, who has the passion and motivation to join the growing team in K2.ResponsibilitiesManage and coordination on and off-site activities of the design, engineering and project delivery teams which include consultants, suppliers and contractors and project delivery.Review all Technical Design & Engineering deliverables for technical content, drawing quality and adherence to code/project requirementsProject management and oversight of construction related activities for new builds or general capital projects. This will include the ownership of the project scope, timeline, and budget.Clear alignment for each project and defining successful indicators based on project scope and customer needs prior to project initiation.Evaluate project risk on design intent/purpose, delivery programme and cost optimizationTotal project quality including the assisting with commissioning and integrated system testing and oversight of the execution of the project.Personally conduct job-site inspections to ensure projects are adhering to specifications and design intentPerform other duties as assigned or instructedJob RequirementsInterpersonal Requirements:Committed to the delivery of high level of service excellence.Calm Manner, able to work under pressure and delivery.Punctual and Self-motivated, ability to work on own initiative.Excellent communication and attention to detail.Skills Sets And Qualifications RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical from an accredited College or UniversityMaster’s Degree or other advanced education is preferredProfessional Registration as a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with the Council of Engineers Thailand (COET)12 years minimum experience in electrical engineering design for data centres5 years minimum experience working in professional MEP company for data centresLead design consultant experience on successful / large scale >10MW data centre projectLead Project Manager experience on successful / large scale >10MW data centre project
