Job SummaryOur Construction Management Internship includes spending time in our sales, design and project management departments. This role will work with each department to understand their workflows and objectives while also have the opportunity to complete tasks and work on projects.ResponsibilitiesA Construction Management Intern will:Assist with submittal packages including schematics, spec books, rough ins, utility schedules, and project schedulesConduct market researchEngage in design “jams” with the design team in laying out new commercial kitchen spaces and understanding the customer’s operationManage timely and effective correspondence with all project team membersConduct site visits with sales, design and project managementOther tasks as assigned by managementPhysical RequirementsWork is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.ExperienceConstruction, design or drafting experience or major would be beneficial but not requiredEducationThis role does not require a degree.
