The Site Manager /Construction Manager - Civil (PV) will be responsible for overseeing the civil construction activities of the solar PV project, including site preparation, foundation works, and installation of support structures. This role ensures that all civil works are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.Nos. of positions: 2Key Responsibilities:Develop detailed construction plans, schedules, and resource allocation for all civil works. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth execution of the project.Lead and supervise all on-site civil construction activities, including grading, foundation works, piling, and installation of PV mounting structures. Ensure that all work is performed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with project specifications.Implement quality control procedures to ensure that civil works meet or exceed industry standards and project requirements. Conduct regular inspections and address any deviations promptly.Enforce a strong safety culture on-site by ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct safety briefings and audits and address any safety issues immediately.Monitor and manage the civil construction budget, controlling costs without compromising on quality. Identify and mitigate any cost overruns and provide regular updates to project management.Manage subcontractors and vendors involved in civil works, ensuring they meet project timelines and quality expectations. Conduct performance reviews and resolve any issues that arise during construction.Serve as the primary point of contact for all civil construction-related matters. Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.Ensure that all civil works comply with local building codes, regulations, and project specifications.Maintain comprehensive records of construction activities, including progress reports, quality assurance documentation, and as-built drawings.
