Job Title: Construction ManagerLocation: Amiens, France (onsite) Employment Type: 4 months contractScope Details: We are seeking to hire an experienced Construction Manager to lead construction activities on the floor in Amiens from early Nov 2025 to Feb 2026. General: Location is Amiens with 100% presence on site during full time service, unless agreed differently. Assumptions for work time on site is Monday – Friday max 10 hours, Saturday only if needed during heavy construction phases. Holidays and Sundays should not be counted as working days Weekly tracking of hours and expenses is to establish and have written confirmation from CLIENT supervisor. A monthly invoicing at hours and expenses spent is required CLIENT reserves the right to terminate the cooperation within the first 6 weeks (try-out period) without further reasoning Important: Track record in construction business and preferably as construction manager with CLIENT Fluent verbal and written skills in English, French would be an advantage Experience in project execution in Amiens will be an advantage project documentation and reports have to be prepared in English local presence as per project requests hands-on personality with strong communication skills strong “follow-up” skills pro-active mindset and agile personality to drive optimization Task description: Design Collaborate with Amiens Team (CLIENT and external partners) to enable fast construction execution Lead the constructability process Support sourcing of companies/resources Prepare all standards and systems for a successful construction (Safety, Quality, Schedule, Cost) Schedule Create and own the overall construction execution schedule as appropriate Manage and co-ordinate the construction process Safety Implement and lead all necessary safety systems (CLIENT and local) Review risk assessments / method statements and ensure all works are co-ordinated with any other works on site and full-fill Amiens contractor safety guidelines Ensure the BOS (Behaviour Observation System) is implemented and working Lead weekly safety meetings (overall safety status, potential procedure adjustments) Ensure safety records are maintained and published to demonstrate the overall site safety performance Close collaboration with HS&E Team regarding Safety expectations, targets as well as fire protection and incident management Quality Set-up of clear QA procedures Ensure agreed procedures, general industry practices, standards, and contractor´s QA plan are strictly followed, and records are maintained Hold regular meetings to identify critical outages and agree immediate remedial actions Lead quality reports and share overall quality satisfaction and potential corrective actions Responsible of execution action list and post start-up list Manage site appearance, waste management and housekeeping Change Management Support the Project Manager in managing scope changes Monitor any deviations from the specification Prepare pre-assessment of potential changes (schedule, cost, quality) and share technical recommendation Follow change management procedure Documentation Establish the project document control system Own safety documentation and records Own quality assurance documentation and records Lead Client permitting processes (hot work, confined space…)
