Freelance Construction Planner – Abu Dhabi, UAEStart Date: NovemberProject Duration: 6 months Engagement Type: Freelance Work Schedule: 6 days per week or 90 days on site / 15 days off Rotation, 8–10 hours per day.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Construction Planner to support a fast-track project in Abu Dhabi. The selected professional will be responsible for planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting activities to ensure the project is delivered on time and within scope.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.Resource Planning: Coordinate labour, equipment, and material requirements with the site team.Progress Monitoring: Track actual progress versus planned milestones and update schedules accordingly.Reporting: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for stakeholders.Coordination: Work closely with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.Risk Management: Identify potential delays or bottlenecks and propose mitigation strategies.Compliance: Ensure all planning and scheduling activities adhere to safety, quality, and contractual standards.RequirementsMinimum 4–5 years of experience in construction project planning.Proven on-site planning experience on fast-track or shutdown projects (preferred).Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications.Excellent English communication skills – both written and spoken.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to highlight the critical path.Team-oriented, proactive, and organized.Additional InformationAccommodation: Single-room apartment (single occupancy).Transport: Shared local rental car; airfare to Abu Dhabi (AUH) covered if needed.Meals: Breakfast included with lodging.Preference: Candidates already residing in the UAE with a valid residence permit and immediate availability.How to ApplyIf you meet the above criteria and are interested in joining a dynamic project team in Abu Dhabi, please submit your CV and availability details.
