Job Description

This role of Construction Project Coordinator will provide administrative support to the construction team located in McDonough GA. The role is to be the link between the field technicians and the project manager. This role will assist with various office tasks: Permits, Submittals, Safety Talks, Data entry of job descriptions and misc. projects. This is not a remote position and will be seated onsite at the construction site.Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure routine work items (daily, weekly, monthly data reports, or similar items) are completed in a timely manner. Assist in phone coverage and associated communications between customers, vendors, supervisors, project managers and field personnel.Record daily time and expenses for the project and maintain an up-to-date crew roster.Maintain accurate project status updates within the database.Maintain the drawing log and ensure foremen have the most up-to-date drawings.Pull permits for worksites as well as request inspections Compiles needed information for material purchases, submittals, O & M manuals, etc. per PM request.RequirementsHigh school diploma required; higher education preferred2+ years customer service experience requiredProject coordinator experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) Strong communication skills, both verbal and writtenDetail-oriented with a high capacity for multitasking Strong Customer Service Skills Desire to actively contribute to a team environmentPositive safety attitude and personal integrity – both are non-negotiableExemplify Company valuesCompetence to keep personnel information strictly confidentialStrong interpersonal skills: ability to interact and with all levels of the company at field sites and offices, and effectively deal with vendors, customers and regulatory agenciesProfessional and positive attitude toward responsibilities and coworkersMetroPower is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
