We are rapidly expanding in the UK.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Project Manager specializing in shop and office fit-outs. You would oversee all aspects of shop and office fit-out projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Daily responsibilities will include coordinating with contractors and suppliers, managing project timelines, and monitoring progress. The individual will also be responsible for supervising construction operations and resolving issues to maintain project momentum.You must have previously managed multi-site rollouts for retail, commercial or offices. You must be highly knowledgeable about construction materials, methods, equipment, fixtures, fittings, cabinetry, structures as well as construction and architectural practices.QualificationsProven skills in Construction Project Management and overseeing shop and office fit-out projectsExperience in Project Coordination and managing multiple timelinesProficiency in Budgeting and resource allocation to balance financial constraintsStrong organizational and leadership abilities to lead teams effectivelyKnowledge of applicable building codes, safety regulations, and compliance standardsPrevious experience with high-quality interior fit-outs or commercial construction is a plusResponsibilitiesDefine project objectives, scope, and success criteria.Establish feasibility studies and business cases.Appoint the professional team (architects, engineers, QS, etc.).Develop the project brief with stakeholder input.Develop and monitor project programmes and milestones.Assist with selection of contractors, suppliers, and consultants.Advise on procurement routes (e.g., Design & Build, Traditional, Management Contracting)Obtain permits, approvals, and licenses including landlord/ tenant issuesMonitor day-to-day construction activities on-site.Track project progress and adjust plans as needed to stay on schedule.Lead project teams, assigning roles and responsibilities.Facilitate communication between clients, contractors, and consultants.Conduct regular site and progress meetings.Report project status to senior management and clients.Manage contractor’s performance and productivity.Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.Prepare regular progress, cost, and performance reports.Manage change orders and project variations.Personal AttributesHigh energyCan multi-taskCalm under pressureResponsible and accountableIndependent and self-motivatedYou should be comfortable with commonly used office software apps (e.g. Word, Excel, Email, WhatsApp, Physical Asset Management Software).
