The Procurement Operations Department is responsible for the procurement operations of the entire Rakuten Group, acting as a centralized sourcing function for the entire company, and promotes the selection and negotiation of business partners in cooperation with business divisions.The Construction Procurement Group is responsible for construction and material procurement related to base station construction and shop construction, as well as service procurement such as various outsourcing and maintenance.PositionPosition DetailsBased on the company's business strategy, you will be responsible for everything from planning to executing procurement strategies in your assigned categories (construction work, maintenance, various outsourcing, etc.). Formulating and executing optimal procurement strategies (sourcing strategies, cost reduction strategies, etc.) Researching and analyzing market trends, cost structures, and supplier trends Evaluating price validity and negotiating terms through price assessment and benchmark analysis Planning and executing cost optimization measures through analysis of purchasing performance data Reviewing, negotiating, and concluding various contracts such as outsourcing basic agreements, construction contracts, and maintenance contracts Compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including the Subcontract Act, and risk management Creating RFP (Request for Proposal) and RFQ (Request for Quotation)Work EnvironmentAround 80 peopleMandatory Qualifications※Experience in any of the following areas (minimum of 3 years, industry not specified): Practical experience in purchasing or procurement within a company (tangible or intangible goods/services; experience in construction or service procurement is especially welcome) Experience in estimation, cost management, purchasing, technical sales, project management, etc., in the construction/equipment/real estate/maintenance service industries Experience in planning and executing cost reduction or operational improvement based on data analysisNative-level Japanese abilityDesired Qualifications Procurement experience related to construction work, equipment, and maintenance services Procurement experience related to outsourcing of IT services, BPO, consulting, etc. Experience in contract-related work (review, drafting, negotiation), and knowledge of the Subcontract Act Experience in RFP/RFQ creation/evaluation and supplier selection processes Advanced Excel skills, experience using BI tools, ERP/purchasing systems, and PythonOther InformationAdditional information on LocationRakuten Crimson House#corporate #procurement #operationdiv
