As you grow in your role, you will have the chance to take on increased responsibilities, participate in strategic projects, and develop your skills in a vibrant and supportive environment.Join our team at CDR, where your ideas matter and your career can flourish in a supportive and exciting environment.Consultant - Corporate & Financial CommunicationsCitigate Dewe Rogerson Tokyo Day To Day Responsibilities IncludeAct as the day-to-day contact for clients and support all activities required to provide strategic advice in media relations and broader communicationsBuild and develop relationships with the media as well as with analysts and fund managers employed by our clientsResearch, write and edit news releases, factsheets, speeches, PowerPoint presentations and other relevant communications materialsParticipate in new business development pitches, with a focus on research, intelligence gathering, and drafting PowerPoint presentationsManage and coordinate clients’ eventsGuide the more junior colleagues and provide quality control of their client workThe Ideal Candidate HasMore than three years relevant working experienceA demonstrable passion for good communicationKnowledge of financial markets and financial services or a willingness to learnExcellent spoken and written language skills in both Japanese and EnglishExcellent interpersonal skills and a cheerful disposition for both client-facing work and for internal collaborationAbility to work under pressure and perform multiple tasks simultaneously with a sense of urgency and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Acceptance of the use AI-related tools to enhance productivityCommon sense, good judgment, resourcefulness, and openness to learning new thingsBachelor or Master’s degree, preferably in a relevant discipline including economics, finance, or communications
