Consultant - Data & AI

Primary Job RoleFortude is looking for a talented, self-driven Data & AI Consultant who has a passion for analytics to join our team. You will get to provide analytics solutions as a full-time consultant with a highly dedicated, dynamic team. You will be involved in pre-sales, design, development & implementation of complex BI solutions across multiple geographies.What we expectA minimum of 4-6 years of experience on data and business intelligence engineeringDeveloping data warehouses/lakehouses (including data warehouse design, data integration, data prep and orchestration)Developing on multiple Azure and related data services (such as Fabric, Synapse Analytics, Analysis Services, Data Factory, SQL Database, Data Lake Storage and Stream Analytics), Databricks and Power BIStrong SQL, Python, Microsoft Power Query and DAX skillsStrong understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehousing conceptsGood understanding of end-to-end business intelligence/analytics solutionsThe ability to drive a delivery team towards project objectivesThe ability to coach and upskill a delivery teamWhat will be advantageousFamiliarity with the medallion lakehouse architectureUnderstanding of data lake conceptsExperience on SQL Server-based data warehousing (including Integration Services, Analysis Services)Experience on Snowflake, AWS data technologies (such as S3, Athena, Redshift), Google Cloud data technologies (such as BigQuery, Looker)What you should haveA bachelor’s degree in analytics or related field will be an advantageTwo or more of the following certifications:Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer AssociateMicrosoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer AssociateMicrosoft Certified: Azure Enterprise Data Analyst AssociateMicrosoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst AssociateDatabricks: Lakehouse Data Engineer AssociateWhat makes you differentExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within an organizationStrong collaboration and organizing skillsSelf-starter mentalityBehavioral Competencies CommunicationTeamworkDigital MindsetOperational ExcellenceAnalytical AbilityCustomer CentricityBusiness and Market AcumenEmpathyGrowth MindsetEqual Opportunity EmployerEveryone can grow at Fortude; regardless of their identity.
