Could it be you?About The RoleAs a Consultant in Banking & Financial Services, you will play a key role in supporting banking clients with capital market management system renewal projects. You will engage directly with clients to understand both business strategy and IT requirements, create requirement definition documentation, and collaborate with partners to design and implement new systems that address cost and operational challenges. In this role, you will be a valued member of our BFS Consulting team, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, delivery teams, and client partners to drive measurable outcomes.In This Role, You Will Engage with clients to understand both business and IT system requirements. Create requirement definition documents, develop grand designs for new systems, and formulate project plans in collaboration with partners. Understand client governance structures and project-related processes. Support clients in executing system renewal projects smoothly.Work modelWe believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client in Tokyo. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations.What You Must Have To Be Considered 5+ years of experience in banking IT projects. Experience in business development or opportunity creation for banking projects. Deep knowledge of banking operations and banking IT systems. Experience in documentation and reporting within banking institutions (must be familiar with Japanese banking culture). Initiative in problem-solving. Analytical thinking and the ability to build hypotheses and draw conclusions from information provided. Positive attitude and ability to work independently. Advanced Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1), conversational English.These will help you succeed Experience in the capital markets domain.
